I recently came back to the game and had to get a new flight control system. My CH Products software wasn’t working anymore. So I shelled out the money for the Logitech G940 system and so far, I like it. Here are a couple things I’ve learned so far.
1. Map your flight controls and buttons from INSIDE the game. 2. Don’t use the trim dials on the joystick. They don’t seem to want to stay calibrated and are way too sensitive. 3. Set the centering spring strength to the maximum setting (150%). I’ve noticed that this decreases the chance for movements to “Drift.” 4. Disable Force Feedback. I don’t think this game supports it, so why use it. I must have flown about 10 or so RDP bomber sorties last weekend with this configuration and I had no problems. If anyone else has suggestions to add or share, I’m open to comments.

Try to calibrate your joystick from outside the game and see if it still works.
