Default Tutorials for Planes.

I just wonder if there are any Tutorials / Guides to Airplanes, because on wiki, here and BF europe i didn't really found anything.

Best thing would be how Beginners should start, with what Airplane they should start, Dog fight or Bomber , what's the best way to gain some Points for reaching lvl 3.

- Is it possible to fill up ammo on a fb? (if i land and go close to vehicle spawn)
- How can i set down the Sensitivity for the Joystick, The Green Lines at Options are already at maxium.

Easiest thing to do is fly a transport plane for paratroopers.

Best thing to do is join a squad that does regular training and get good on a single plane for the time being.

Spitfires have always been easy to fly. Axis planes are not as forgiving of mistakes.

As for tutorials, there are a lot of videos out on youtube showing bits and pieces of gunnery skills and such. None of it is as good as trial and error and a good squad to teach you.

Hiya,
Usualy i'm a big Fan of Trial and Error, but the Airtime is very long before you reach your Mission Traget (arround 7-10 mins , at least it feels like this)
And mostly i die right after i reached the Target (~60% a ea sneaked behind me and i die in seconds, 30% of time i get Shoot by AI AA and 10% i loose Control and Crash)

Transporter sounds Nice , but actually i never saw a Mission like this for Axis / Luftwaffe.
And i'm not sure but when i was Inf. i saw i have to be at least lvl 5 to fly the Transporter.

if your flying axis, ask on ch 20.

jg51molders.com

I know for a fact they have training manuals, they have video clips they post in thier forums so you can see how. They are willing to train one on one. Their squad nights are Sunday's & Tuesday's 8pm EST. They also have a Euro time as well.

TeamSpeak 3 is REQUIRED to join this squadron.

Register on thier squad forums. This is a 109 ONLY squadron. Which on squad nights you are REQUIRED to fly a 109 of your choice. You will learn not only to fly, but how to fly with your wingman & in swarms. Any other time you fly not on squad nights you can fly whatever you want.

HAVE FUN!

i noticed 2 Things.

1. If you don't have a Headset you don't get acceptet from any Squad or for any Training.

2. If you don't have a Headset you don't get acceptet from any Squad or for any Training.

.....

I got a lot of fun at my Squad , but it seems i get kicked Today or Tomorrow just beacuase i'm not part of Voice.
Same goes for Help, i asked several Peoples and some Guys in the Forum and everything ends up "Sorry you have to come Ts3"

E: i Tell you why i don't come Ts3.

1. I don't have a good Mic (ppl's complain about it)
2. I don't talk English
3. I don't know World War 2 .... and most of the Guys are very used to it, and i feel like a noob if i can't talk about it,

So after all i can't afford any help, because all Guys tell me "Sorry u need to got Ts3" ....

If you want some excellent tips for air flying, go to youtube and look up a guy named "Hyoslvr" he is pretty in depth with his videos and instructions. He knows his stuff.

Humm, 109e1/hurri1/h75 to start out with. Find a mission with ranked flyers on it and stay near them, watch what they do.
1st priority is learn to survive. That means never stay on a enemy for very long because his buddy will dust your feathers if you do.
Off angle shots are always more productive with wing guns over dead 6 shots....More chance of getting rounds into the pilot or engine. Learn to lead your target, shoot where he'll be not where he is.

Twin engine planes are generaly heavy flying planes so bombers, blen1 and 110s are not the best starter planes.

You have to learn to fly smoothly and learn where the edge of flight for your plane is, when will it stall, when will it blackout (learn to ride at the edge of blackout too). Keep speed and altitude. Altitude can be traded for speed and speed can be sacrificed for altitude but when you're out of both you are broke. Remember the guy with altitude dictates the fight.

Points, you'll get 10 per kill for equal cost planes killed with a rtb, more for higher cost/tier planes. The riverboats pay I think 20 points per kill with a rtb to a flyer. Also when ever air infantry (not paras but inf in air brigades) are available at a ao then points gained with them are air points.

Be prepared to die alot, it's a learning process. You are going against folks that have years of virtual combat experience, some with close to 20 years stick time.

Don't get mad, learn.

And, flying with a squad on TS does improve the odds but you can do well lone wolfing, but you gotta be much more aware of everything.

Jester posted this in the hanger, also you can find others on youtube.
Note that he keeps the nme in vis and note the deflection shots, how he leads his shots. It's pretty much all in this one vid...Leading the shot, keeping the nme in view, controling the fight, rideing the edge of blackout.

Impressive, that's the way i played in AA (Air Attack) , play with the Sight's / Angels.

But this actually don't work in this game for me , i'm fine to look left /right with my Coolie Hat from the Joystick. But i can't Look up or right/behind + left/behind or Right/up + left/up because it's bugged and just works 30% of time.

THe problem about the video, i can't see what you are doing (when you lower ur speed , turn flaps down, etc.

I'm also not Sure about the Engine speed, i guess for Takeoff i have to Put Maximum , but after? and in curves?

E: I think Air Attack is also a Little Simulation and not that easy to master, so just wonder why i don't come belong here.

E2: maybe you also can give me a Tip for a good Joystick (i got a Cogar Flightstick SL 6630 from Speed Link) i think it is a bit Out of date.

Honestly any joystick with 3 axis and several buttons plus a hat that stays in calibration is fine.
Beound that it goes to personal preferance.
I use a MS sidewinder2 FFB because being this game does not support FFB it gives a very stiff full force (motorized force feedback stick) with definate feel for center.

Many use the various saitek sticks and logitec sticks, a few use the realy high end sticks.

Map forward up and up to the forward and back spots on your hat or map forward up to a button you can hold to give that 45* up to the other hat positions when used together.

You can actualy map freelook to the hat too but it's realy fast pan useing the hat.
